BarNotes – social cocktail and drink recipes App Reviews

I was looking for a way to keep track of my favorite cocktails and find some new ones. This does that and more. Still there are some short comings and a request for an enhancement. I use this app on both my phone and my iPad and it does not play well with the two devices. Drinks I add on one do not show on my list. I can search my name and find them so all is not lost - just awkward. Additionally I would love to see a function that would allow me to learn of new "watering holes" that specialize in the art of mixology especially as I travel.

This is the coolest cocktail app period. Its beautifully laid out and easy to navigate. This is a great app for the seasoned pro and casual cocktail fan alike.

Hands down, exactly what I have been looking for. You can create and store your own cocktails, which I dont think any other app will let you do. But greater than that is the fact that I can follow my friends, even pretty well known bartenders, and see what cocktails they have added. I added a few cocktails, and other people have started following them. The social aspect of having others comment on your creations, or seeing other mixologist talk about variations of cocktails, is something Ive been looking for. Incredible app.

Overall, this is one of the better cocktail apps, which tend towards cheese and crappy drinks. My one complaint is that it needs a better-structured discovery model. Maybe some way to search by ingredients or styles, etc.

This is the best app for sharing original cocktails and new takes on classic recipes. The social aspect is great.

Excellent aesthetics, and great way to find and feature cocktails. I imagine the app getting much better with an increase in user base.

As this app lends it self to the "Home Barman/lady", its a great way to find new cocktails and variations on classics.

The BarNotes cocktail app has the latest drink recipes from the best bartenders in the country (world?). I was pleasantly surprised to find a bunch of British mixologists using the app. I find myself checking BarNotes to find high quality drink recipes that are unknown to most.
